Dear Google

It's 2011. Actually, 2012 is just around the corner. Google is an internet company. Google is even a shrug cloud / SaaS (software as a service) cough software provider.

This is all great!

But, last year recruiters for Google have been contacting me about 8 times. Each time they tried to convince me to take an interview. Each time, requirement nr 1 is I've got to move to Zurich, Dublin, or other places outside my country. That's right, you ask me to emigrate for work reasons.

How strange is that? Google should be the nr 1 believer in internet. I can do 99%, if not 100%, of the work you want me to do from my any place in the world (well ok, not ANY place, but home would do just fine!) using, you guessed it, the internet!

Now, from what I hear, life at Google is good, but really, this makes me think of Google as a company stuck in the 90's! Call me again if your company decides to come back to the future.
